Although many supercross motorcycle riders get their start at a young age, James Stewart is still relatively young for what he has accomplished. Perhaps, part of that credit can be given to this father. James Stewart Sr. was also a motocross racer. It has been said that he regularly took his son along with him to the racers. 

When McGrath started in supercross motorcycle racing, he was with Team Suzuki. After a while, he decided to switch to Team Honda. Like his fellow supercross competitor, Ricky Carmichael, this move was widely criticized by many, including his fans. It is a wonder if his fans saw what would be coming in the future. 

Although, at the time, it was not officially known as supercross racing. A comparison was made by the racing promoter. That comparison was between motocross and the Superbowl; for that reason, the supercross name was used. Supercross and motocross still exist today. While it is now easier to separate the two, it was difficult to do when supercross racing was first developed. 

Despite the fact supercross motorcycle racing and supercross BMX racing are not the same thing, you will find that they often require the same type of safety equipment. You may find that your child whishes to continue participating in supercross BMX racing; however, there is a good chance that they will still carryon with their dream of becoming a motorcycle racer. 

After your child is all setup and ready to go, you will probably enjoy the experience just as much as they do. Although the experience will likely be fun, it is important to remember that supercross motorcycle racing can be a dangerous sport. You may want to think about enrolling your child in an off-road motorcycle course or a youth racing course. 

You will find that many individuals and companies are more than willing to give away extra dirt that they have on their land or leftover from a previous building project. Although it is fairly easy to obtain the dirt, many have a problem getting it delivered. The cost of delivery tends to be fairly expensive.
